About this Death Cafe

We run this event because we believe that many peole want to discuss topics around death but cannot raise them with their freinds or family.

These topics might be about a death they've experienced among their loved one, or their own death, or general thoughts  about death, loss or bereavement.

We have small groups with a facilitator to make sure things run smoothly.  Th only agenda is to discuss the issues you raise in a respectful and caring way.

About Emily Engel

We who have been facilitating this Death Cafe for five years now. Several of us practice as Death Doulas, supporting people with the issues other professionals rarely have time for.        

We provide a safe and pleasant space for people to talk about whatever they wish on the topic of death.

The cafedoes not open until 5pm, so please bring your own drinks: cakes, fruit & biscuits to share are also welcome
